Who wants to help build a volcano?

That’s right. Who wants to help me build a volcano?

Preferably a real, working, exploding one. Not quite life-size, but still pretty big. Think about taking that science experiment you did in school and blowing it up (no pun intended) to, say, the size of a grown man? Does that idea appeal to you?

The volcano is for an upcoming church-wide event in July, a Luau to celebrate paying off the debt to build the big sanctuary about 10 years ago. God’s been awesome and led many people to help pay this debt off, and now we want to celebrate! So we’re going to throw a luau and burn the mortgage, which is where the volcano comes in.

I’m looking for 4-6 volunteers who would be willing to work with some other adults and myself on this project. Instead of sitting around the house, sleeping until noon, waking up, and eating an entire bag of cheetos while watching SpongeBob, you can come hang out and work on this service project and have way more fun.
