Youth 2011 – Last Call for Sign Ups
If you are interested in going to Youth 2011, then you need to talk to me before May 18th. I have to know our final number of attendees so that I can get all the paperwork finalized.
If, somehow, you still don’t know what Youth 2011 is… It’s an incredible opportunity on July 13-17 to gather with United Methodist Youth from around the world, right here in our backyard (well, West Lafayette, IN… so pretty close) for worship, Bible study, small group, interesting workshops and breakout sessions, concerts, mission/service opportunities and fellowship. Every four years, the youth of the UMC get together for this meeting, and I don’t think it has ever been as close to us as it is now, and probably won’t be this close again while any of you are youth aged.
Here’s the cost info: you can go for $100! We have some youth scholarship money available to cover most of the cost (which at this point is $425 per person). You come up with $100, and if that is a problem, please talk to me, because we can probably work something out to help. I REALLY want as many of us to go as possible. It will be an incredible experience, I promise you. I know that it is during the middle of the fair, so that means a lot of you can’t go. That stinks, but I didn’t have any say in the dates for this event. But for the rest of you, you should definitely go. It’s going to be one of the coolest things, maybe even the coolest thing, that we have done as a group.
So, let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, and no later than next Wednesday, if you would like to go. Wednesday is the FINAL deadline. No last minute additions. It’s going to rock your face off.
Peace,
Corey
